AWOL Group was built on vision, grit, and a shared drive to create something bigger than themselves. Founded by Dylan Nolt alongside partner Ramin Piran, the company represents a collective of forward-thinking entrepreneurs who saw where retail and logistics were headed—and decided to lead the way.
Together, they recognized early the growing demand for smart locker solutions as consumer expectations shifted toward convenience, automation, and seamless experiences. What started as an idea quickly became a mission: to build innovative, scalable systems that help businesses evolve while creating better, more efficient experiences for their customers.
Each partner brings a unique strength to the table. Dylan is the visionary, always looking ahead and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. Steve is the strategist and operator, focused on execution, growth, and building strong, lasting solutions. Ramin is the technical backbone—the one who ensures everything works exactly as it should, stepping in to solve problems and support projects wherever they are in the world.

Dylan Nolt
Dylan Nolt is the co-owner and operator of AWOL Group, a forward-thinking company at the forefront of smart locker solutions for modern retail and logistics. With a sharp eye for innovation and a natural entrepreneurial drive, Dylan recognized early on the shift in consumer behavior—toward convenience, automation, and seamless pickup experiences. He saw smart lockers not just as a trend, but as a critical piece of the future for retailers looking to stay competitive in an evolving marketplace.
Built on vision and execution, Dylan has positioned AWOL Group to meet the growing demand for intelligent, scalable locker systems that enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency. His approach is simple: anticipate where the market is going, and get there first.
Outside of business, Dylan lives life with the same intensity he brings to work. He enjoys riding his Harley, cranking loud music, and spending time watching his son play hockey. Whether it’s in business or in life, he’s all about momentum—pushing forward, taking risks, and making things happen.
Ramin Piran
Ramin Piran is the co-owner and operator of AWOL Group, known for his technical expertise, reliability, and hands-on approach to keeping things running at the highest level. As the go-to problem solver, Ramin is the one who steps in when systems need attention—diagnosing issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring everything operates seamlessly. His skillset and dedication make him an essential part of delivering the high-performance smart locker systems AWOL Group is known for.
Ramin’s role goes far beyond the day-to-day. He travels extensively, supporting projects and clients across the globe—sometimes alongside Dylan, and often leading the charge on his own. No matter where the job takes him, he brings the same commitment to quality, efficiency, and getting the job done right.
Outside of work, Ramin is a true family man who values time spent with his loved ones. He enjoys getting out into the fresh air whenever he can and takes pride in customizing his bike—bringing the same attention to detail and craftsmanship he applies in his work. Whether he’s on the road, on-site, or at home, Ramin is all about building, fixing, and making things work better.
Chris G.
Chris is a seasoned sales and business development professional with extensive experience across multiple industries, including telecommunications, automotive, entertainment, real estate, and personal development. Throughout his career, he has helped generate significant revenue by identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving growth-focused initiatives.
As Director of Sales and Business Development at AWOL Group, Chris supports the company’s mission of providing innovative last-mile delivery solutions for large retailers through smart lockers and robotics. AWOL Group is also a Canadian distributor for Livful and European Tiny Homes, expanding its reach across emerging lifestyle, housing, and technology-driven markets.
Chris brings a practical, relationship-focused approach to business development, with a strong ability to connect market needs with effective solutions. His diverse background allows him to recognize opportunities across industries and develop strategies that support long-term business growth.
Steve Resch
Steve Resch is a partner at AWOL Group, bringing a hands-on, forward-thinking approach to the company’s growth and innovation in smart locker solutions. Like his partner Dylan, Steve recognized early the shift toward convenience-driven retail and the increasing demand for automated, secure pickup systems. With a strong understanding of both operations and customer experience, he plays a key role in helping position AWOL Group as a leader in the evolving landscape of retail technology.
Steven thrives on building smart, scalable solutions that make life easier for both businesses and their customers. His mindset is rooted in action—seeing opportunity, moving quickly, and executing with purpose.
Outside of work, Steve enjoys riding his Harley, listening to loud tunes, and spending quality time hanging out with his kids and dog. Whether he’s at home or in business, Steve values connection, balance, and making the most out of every moment while continuing to push things forward.
